Project Description
Investment is a type of activity that is engaged in by people who have to do savings i.e investments are done from their savings. A variety of investment options are available like FD, gold real estate, mutual fund, postal services, stock markets… Investors are always investing their money with different types of purpose and objectives such as profit, security, appreciation, income stability. The present study is aimed to assess and compare all the various avenues in investments as well as the factors that are required while selecting the investment.
Project Scope
- To have a thorough knowledge about investment industry
- To explore various investment avenues available in the market
- Compare the returns, risk and various other factors
- To explore different need of investors
- To identify the degree of importance given to various factors
Student Task
- At the end of the project, based on the findings of the study students will provide information on ways and means to establish/improve customer knowledge and awareness about various investment avenues.
- Students should submit a report on factors influencing people to choose an investment. Should also explore about the awareness about various products available.
- A group presentation on the same should be made by the students at the completion of the project
