Project Description
Purpose of this study is to learn more about stock market and mutual fund industry and its participation in Indian Financial market. India being a vast country with more than 139 crores population, only 1.2 crore people trade in stock market. This study deals with identifying better investments options for public especially about PMS.
Project Scope
To study about various investment options available in stock market To analyze return and risk of various schemes.Evaluate customer preferences to various schemes and various stock brokers Evaluate the performance of different basket of funds based on different performances measurement ratios. To analyze perception of investors towards mutual funds. Datasets will contain only numeric input variables due to confidentiality.
Student Task
- Students should come out with a thorough knowledge on all the technical tools/ratios available in analyzing stocks.
- At the end of this project trainees should be able to complete various stock market exams conducted by NISM.
- This exam seeks to create a common minimum knowledge benchmark for all persons involved in selling and distributing shares. Certification in NISM is mandatory for all to work in any financial institutions.
- Trainees should make a presentation on the ways and means to improve stock trading and also customers preferences on various stock investments available with various brokers.
- Students should come out with a report on performance of various PMS schemes. A group presentation on the same should be made by the students at the completion of the project.
